I tried downloading the trial version of VueScan and it manages to control the Xerox scanner fine although it is not freeware and trial leaves a watermakr, so not inclined to use it. Or you can use Driver Navigator to help you download and install Your Printer driver automatically. Hi there, This seems to get the scanner to work, but the image is distorted. Could you help me?

Andrew just asked about the same question regarding the LiDE 35 please see my answer Andrew hope this helps enjoy! I had a bit of difficulty finding CanoScan Lide 35 drivers to download, but eventually I found a link on a UK website and reinstalled the drivers, leaving everything else as is.
