OneSwellFoop NetWorks is a Sole Proprietorship that is solely proprietorized by Wendell Wittler.

It is the policy of this site and all the sites of OSFNW to be as fiscally transparent as possible with the eventual goal of fiscally disappearing entirely.

Any and all links for which I may received any form of compensation will be labeled thus:

means that the ad has been placed on a Pay Per Click basis (usually by Google AdSense). I only get paid if someone uses the link to go to the sponsoring site. That does NOT mean I want every visitor of my site to click on the link. That would be wrong, and Google wouldn’t like it, and Google has always liked me and I want to keep it that way. ONLY click on the link if it genuinely interests you. Which may not happen often; the Google algorithm for serving ads does not yet recognize humor or irony so many of the ads will be accidentally funny or ironic.

But that STILL does NOT mean I want every visitor of my site to click on the link. That would still be wrong and would cheat someone I like as much as Google likes me. But if you do click on the link, be assured that Wendell personally recommends it. I like to think that I ‘stand behind’ the product, service and/or entity, and if you are dissatisfied with it, please let me know. I’ll forward all complaints, but cannot guarantee anything beyond the fact that if I get enough complaints, the advertiser will lose my endorsement and you won’t see its ads here anymore. But PLEASE do not name me in any law suit you may file against the advertiser. I have next-to-nothing in financial resources for your compensation, and besides, I would be much more valuable as a plaintiff’s witness for you. (Hmmmm?)

means that I am acting as an Affiltiate for the advertiser and am paid a Commission on any purchase you make after clicking the link. You may need to have “cookies” enabled for me to be compensated, especially if you purchase something other than the specific item advertised; and if you intend to buy later, please bookmark/favorite the place where you enter the advertiser’s site and don’t cut off whatever strange gobbledegook is at the end of the url. I ‘stand behind’ the advertiser at least as much as the Endorsed ads, but still, please don’t sue me.

ASIDE: Isn’t it interesting that COMM is the first letters in Commission, Communicate, Comment, Command, Commandment, Commit, Commercial, Commute, Communism, Community, Commiserate, Common and Comma? But not Comedy?
