…welcome to the new and subtly improved Wendell.Me. What? You don’t see any difference? Good. It’s all, as they say, under the hood, but if you’ll look at the left sidebar, you’ll discover that I have restored the archives from my past blogging attempts going back to The Last Millennium (I like saying that). However, there’s a lot of cleaning up to do, so don’t panic if you see something weird as you wander though my playing cards and please just let it be one of sixteen vestal virgins who were heading for the coast… uh, sorry, I’ve been listening to some old Procol Harum songs…

No, it has nothing to do with the Inauguration of President Whatsisname (although anything he can do to unscrew this screwed up nation is okay with me). I’ve been using the last few days of personal depression to do some essential behind-the-curtain work on my little Emerald City of Oz here. Within 24 hours or so, as the DNS settles in (along with the DSL, DHL, DBA, DNA, DEA, DAR and DONTTOUCH) this site will be at a new location with the same domain name and this post will be replaced by something else I wrote a few minutes ago and we’ll both be enjoying the Wide New World of Wendell 2.0… no, wait, I’ve rebooted how many other times… let’s see… WENDELL 17.0: The Seventeenth Time’s the Charm!
