Regulary Scheduled Technical Difficulty: Take Two

I’m going to try upgrading my blogware again, so you may have problems accessing this site for a while, OR it may look like a generic Word Press blog for a while (which was what happened when I upgraded photoslop.com last night, which was why I went to sleep instead of starting the upgrade here). Speaking of PHOTOSLOP, I’ve got a doozy set up to premiere at 12:01 AM Eastern, which is 9:01 PM Pacific, and 5:01 AM GMT. Which is also last Friday in Korea, next Friday in New Zealand, and an undetermined time in Kansas, where the school board has not yet decided whether to recognize the whole “time theory” thing.

As long as I’m being snarky, here’s a new Conspiracy Theory for my 14 readers to spread around: After leaving office, Bush will quietly support a lawsuit to reverse the results of the 2000 Presidential Election, thus making everything since ’01 Al Gore’s fault. Hey, it’s possible.

AND NOW A WORD FROM SOMEBODY WHO MAY HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ME...

You Are Number 6174

I have a new favorite number.

Now, you don’t have to understand the mathematical rigamarole in that article to understand that any number that keeps coming up when you do a complex mathematical operation on other numbers (and not just those “pick any number” parlor games), it’s pretty cool. And the fact that it’s a four-digit number and does that is impressive. And it’s even and divisible by 9, yet it looks… so… random.

And the last two digits are 2 X my previous favorite number:

I never got on that “42″ bandwagon. 37 was so much more… prime. (And Bob Barker used it on “The Price Is Right”!) Still, I always agreed that Three Is a Magic Number.
6174 has so many potential uses… unfortunately, now that I’ve blogged about it, I can’t use it in any of my passwords. Unless I publicly declare that I’m never going to use it in my passwords. But then… aw, nevermind.
