Why didn't I read this yesterday when my neighbors were blasting their music? I could have turned the Comfort Stand Recordings up and gone for a walk. I too, was a band geek. I played upright bass, so they handed me the bells during marching season. A silver mini glockenspiel. Hey, it was better than the poor kid who had to carry the bass drum. Our uniforms were red and white and extremely thick hot polyester with big gold buttons. No In A Gadda at our school, but we did play String of Pearls in jazz band... Too funny!
