Excuse me, this may be a massively stupid question, but did I fail to blog about it when Square Root of Minus Garfield used another one of my submissions a-couple-or-three weeks ago? Why, yes, I apparently did.
The title “Garfield’s Other Dog” was not the title I suggested, but I can’t remember what, if anything, I did suggest and can’t find the email I sent them, so it couldn’t have been much better. There will be future Wendell creations in that venue in the future, some-but-not-all involving comic strip crossovers, which other Square Root contributors never seem to do. And there are so many other cats and dogs in the paper AND web comics…
But not soon, since the backlog of contributions for that comic is longer than the waiting list for Price Is Right tickets (the audience is still filled with people who made requests when Bob Barker was on… and had black hair), and that project’s Big Kahuna’s better-known project Irregular Webcomic is also made several years in advance. (He should be getting around to his Y2K-themed comics next week) I keed, I keed, but it does help me be less impatient with webcomickers whose Monday comics are posted at 3PM Tuesday. Which reminds me, is Goats up yet?
