I’ m alive and back from outpatient hospital heck (less severe than hospital hell) and the doctors have eliminated several possible causes for my ills, unfortunately, most of the ones that could be fixed easily. But on the way home on Highway 101 southbound, I was passed by a small caravan of firetrucks from towns whose names I didn’t recognize (there’s a Windsor, California?) and realized they were on their way to help fight the Santa Barbara fire. I wish them good luck and light winds.
In other news, you know what a SMART criminal (of which there are thankfully few) would do? Steal some random guy’s wallet and ‘accidentally’ drop it while you’re robbing a bank.
