"The Big Boing"

Sometimes amazing things happen while you’re sick and/or sleeping in. Doing a very late surf of the Internet’s Usual Suspects, I was shocked at the number of posts on BoingBoing today: 33, from the 4 Official Boingers (11 from Xeni/Jenny, 9 by Fark Frankenfender, 7 by El Pesco, 6 by Not-E.L.Doctorow) plus a “Week in Review” for the previous week, all between 7:11AM and 7:25PM. It appears that every one of the umpteen obsessions that critics say they are obsessed with (including Copyright, Privacy, Security, Activism, DIY, Space, SciFi, Geeks, 50′s Nostalgia, 70′s Nostalgia and Boobies) were covered today. But no mention of Paris Hilton or The Sopranos. Maybe they have the right idea after all…
